HISTORY MAKING WATERPARK EXPANSION ANNOUNCED
Beech Bend Park announced the largest water park expansion in park
history today. The multi-million dollar expansion includes Cyclone
Saucers, the FIRST EVER North American installation of ProSlide’s
FlyingSAUCER ride. This history-making, ground breaking water slide
will offer a very unique ride experience. Riders will fly around the
edge of three “flying saucers” at high speeds. At nearly 500 feet
long with a 55 foot elevation change, Cyclone Saucers is truly a
Joining Cyclone Saucers in 2016 are three more new iconic rides.
Tidal Wave positions riders face to face as they surge up a
thrilling wall and hang weightless before rocketing back down.
Riptide features an intense dark ride section, before plummeting
into two separate funnels. Polynesian Plunge drops riders from the
top of the slide tower into a swirling bowl. All four slides are
being custom designed for Beech Bend Park by ProSlide Technology,
Inc. The new rides are expected to open in June, 2016.
Beech Bend Park is a family owned park which employs approximately
300 people per season. The new expansion will increase those numbers
by approximately 25 people, which includes positions for life guards
and slide attendants. Beech Bend is also seeking a ride
mechanic/safety inspector supervisor, a food and beverage manager,
an aquatics manager, and a marketing manager. Beech Bend Park is
part of a large entertainment complex that includes Beech Bend
Raceway and Beech Bend Campground, and brings almost one million
visitors to the Bowling Green area each year.

Beech Bend Park is affordable
family fun, close to home! Beech Bend offers entertainment sure to please
every member of your family including dozens of world class amusement rides and
water slides, mini-golf, go-carts, games of skill and luck, a petting farm and
terrific live shows and entertainment. Plus there's championship drag
racing each week at adjacent Beech Bend Raceway. Beech Bend also
offers first class camping facilities within walking distance to all the
other entertainment venues. Bring your own tent or RV and stay right
here at Beech Bend Park.
Beech Bend Park is a non-smoking facility.
Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. We are a family
park and do not allow alcoholic beverages, clothing containing profanity, or
skate boards. Pets are not allowed except for service animals.
Line jumping and obscene language will not be tolerated. Proper attire
must be worn in all areas. Shoes, shirts and short/pants are required
for park admission and in all areas of Beech Bend Park. Proper, modest
swimsuits are required in Splash Lagoon Water Park and swim diapers are
required for untrained toddlers.
All ride operations cease at park closing
time, some queue lines close prior to park closing to accommodate guests in
line. All guests must comply with ride height restrictions posted.
Ride height restrictions can be found on the Rides and Attractions page. Some rides and
attractions will close temporarily during electrical storms, high winds,
heavy rain or other severe weather conditions. As soon as conditions
permit safe operation, these rides and attractions will re-open. Beech
Bend Park does not issue refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather.

Beech Bend Park rents single strollers ($8
per day), double strollers ($12 per day), electric scooters ($35 per day)
and wheelchairs ($8 per day).
Locker rentals are available underneath the Raging Rapids water slides.
Locker rentals are $7 per day for a standard locker, $10 per day for a large
locker and $14 per day for a jumbo locker.
Sorry, but coolers, food, drinks and
picnic items may not be taken into the park. There is a picnic area
outside the main gate available on a first come, first serve basis for
