NHRA Summit ET Series racing returned this week after having two straight weekends rained out.  The beautiful July weather brought out nearly 200 entries!  The Quick Fuel SS/S Combo cars packed the staging lanes with 49 cars on the ladder! 

Nick Morris had an outstanding weekend parking his ’98 Mustang in the Winner’s Circle for the 2nd time in as many days and regained the Combo points lead.  This was Nick’s third Quick Fuel Combo win in 4 races this season.  On Sunday Nick defeated Jim Watson’s 6cyl Chevy II in the final.  Gary Summers’ 78 Mustang was once again on top of the qualifying sheet. 

Justin Clark made the trip down from IN to take the win in Super Pro for the 3rd time this season!  Justin also regained the Super Pro points lead when he defeated Cody Field in the final round. 

Clayton Clark finally parked his Chevy S-10 in the Winner’s Circle after a long drought.  Clark defeated Leon Robertson in the final round. 

Daniel Johnson drove his Mazda to the final in Sportsman where he defeated Joseph Russell.  Russell’s final round appearance earned him the Sportsman points lead. 

Jr. Dragster saw a new winner for this season when Destiny Lynch defeated Maddie Head in the final round. 

Ron Hunt drove his Impala all the way from St. Louis on Sunday and parked in the Winner’s Circle in the 1/4mi Trophy class.  Hunt defeated Ronnie Meredith who was getting used to chasing cars on the track in his new Buick!
