As most of you may know by now Dallas Jones was hospitalized last week with heart problems we are glad to report that after a triple bypass surgery on Friday he is doing great. On behalf of the Jones family we would like to thank everyone for their concerns, prayers, and thoughts. Sunday January 10th

Beech Bend Raceway recognized as the 2009 NHRA Division 3 Track of the year.

During the NHRA Division 3 meetings and banquet held this past weekend in Indianapolis, IN we we're honored to be nominated and chosen as the 2009 Div. 3 Track of the year, the other nominees where Norwalk, Joliet, and IRP all of which are very nice racetracks.  Dallas Jones and family would like to thank all of the racers that visited BBRP in the past and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2010.  During the banquet on Saturday night there we're three local racers honored Tracy Crutcher, Edmond Richardson, and Timmy Elliot.

Tracy Crutcher from Pleasant View, TN shown here in center of photo was honored Saturday night for being the NHRA Division 3 Sportsman Champion as we'll as the 2009 NHRA Sportsman Bracket World Champion. Tracy was also nominated and chosen by his fellow racers as the NHRA Division 3 Bracket Racer of the Year award. Tracy had an outstanding 2009 racing season and hopes to stay on the same path in 2010.

Edmond Richardson was honored Saturday night for his Division 3 Stock Eliminator Championship as we'll as his Runner-up finish in the Division 3 points in Super Comp. Edmond was also honored at the NHRA banquet for his Stock Eliminator World Championship.

Timmy Elliot was also honored for winning the 2009 VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions in the Pro Bracket.

Congratulations to Tracy Crutcher NHRA Sportsman Bracket World Champion

Tracy who is the 2009 Sportsman Bracket points Champion at BBRP attended the NHRA Division 3 Bracket Finals in September and won, by doing so he was able to attend the NHRA World Finals in Pamona, CA while their he competed with the Sportsman Bracket winners from the other 6 NHRA Division's and at the end of the day he was crowned NHRA Sportsman Bracket World Champion.
