What a way to finish out the 2018 Summit ET Series Championships! 

Not one single Summit ET Series Class Championship was decided by more than ONE ROUND!

In Quick Fuel Super Pro;  Justin Clark hangs on by 1 round to Win the 2018 Super Pro Championship.  Derick Adams started the day 3 rounds behind Clark and the door was open for the upset after Clark went out 2nd round.  Adams was on a roll but went red in Round 4.  At the end of the night James Barnes defeated Chris Blair in the Super Pro final.

ATM Pro ET;  Adam Cline and Clayton Clark will be crowned the 2018 Co-Champions of ATM Pro ET!  Clayton Clark came into the day 2nd in points just 2 rounds behind Adam.  Adam Cline’s day ended with a Round 2 loss leaving the door open for Clayton to make a move.  Clark won the 2nd & 3rd round to Tie Adam for the Championship but was unable to win the go ahead round in Round #4.  Jason Barnes went on to win the day’s race and jumped to 3rd in the final points standings.  Barnes defeated Big Earl Talley, who was still sun burnt from the sunny southern California weather last weekend, in the Final Round.

Ryan’s Steakhouse Sportsman;  Big Earl Talley ran out of rounds chasing Joseph Russell for the Season Championship.  Big Earl won it all today defeating Chris Cowles in the final round but came up one round short in the Championship Chase.  Joseph Russell hung on to win his first Sportsman Class track championship and second class Championship in 2 years(2017 1/4mi Championship).

JEGS.com Junior Dragster;  Hunter Davis won today’s race defeating Bryanne Brock in the final round.  Davis came into the day 3 rounds behind Maddie Head in the points standings and with his win tied Maddie!  Both agreed to a one round run-off for the Track Champions crown!  Hunter Davis won the run-off and is your 2018 Junior Dragster Track Champion! 

Smokey Bones 1/4mi Trophy;  Chris Cowles defeated David Roe in today’s final race.  But the real story was another run-off deciding the 2018 Track Champion!  Larry Key and Joseph Russell squared off for the one round run-off where Larry Key defeated a red-lighting Russell to be crowned the 2018 1/4mi Trophy Champion!
