Dear Oval Track Racers,
For whatever reason you choose, whether it be the economy, lack of interest,
wrong program, so forth etc. Our oval track racing has taken a hit.
Our banquet for the last several years has had very low attendance. So therefore, we are mailing
out the season end bonus checks to each of you racers. Your championship jacket
and plaque will follow in the mail.
Our oval track cost quite a lot of money to operate in 2011, so for that reason
we have elected to not run the oval track in 2012. Maybe by 2013 we will clean
up our White House and get our economy rolling again. If so, and the economy
shows some growth, then we will try oval track racing again in 2013.
If any of you
have transponders and brackets that are paid for or partially paid for, we will
be more than happy to refund your money, if you call us in advance and give us
notice when you will be coming.
If I have
inconvenienced any of you, I am truly sorry. Hopefully there will be enough
tracks running that you will still have your racing time available.
I have always
enjoyed the oval track racing on Friday Nights and will truly miss the racing
and the many friends that I have made over the years. I hope that by 2013 that
we can all get back to doing what we truly love to do. RACE!
