As we prepare for the 2008 racing season, we have two requirements for all racers.  Each driver will be required to purchase a Beech Bend Raceway Driver’s license and transponder.  You must have the license in order to race at Beech Bend Raceway. The cost of the license is $25.00 (one license for all classes).  Beech Bend Raceway will be using transponders for all lap-keeping.  Racers will need one transponder only, no matter how many classes.   You must have your registered transponder on your car to receive points and money.  The cost to Beech Bend for these transponders is $175.  The racers will have two options: Racers can pay $125 upfront for use of the transponder, 2 brackets and charger for the year or they would be allowed to pay a deposit of $50 for the transponder.  This $50.00 deposit fee is non-refundable or non-transferable. The $125 additional charge would then be taken from your winnings.    If you purchase your transponder with charger and two brackets, you may turn it in at the end of the season for a maximum refund of $125.00 or the amount of winnings held.  If you have a transponder from another track that will work with our timing system, you will not be required to buy a Beech Bend transponder, but you will have to register your transponder at tech.
